Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search

This is my entry for the Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search. The brief was to design a journal cover that could be sold in paperchase, designed around the theme of old fashioned playground items. Unfortunately I didn't get into the top 50 but I really like what I came up with and I really enjoyed the brief. I also entered this to the Queen Alexandra hospital and it was also chosen to be displayed in the dementia ward!

Enjoy!

Monsters Mash-up

The Pixar Times blog has been celebrating the release of the new Monsters Inc. film Monsters University, and to do so they asked artists to mix some Monsters Inc. characters in with any other film or TV programme so I chose Friends. Last Friday my piece was put up on the pixart blog! Here it is: http://pixartimes.com/2013/06/14/pixart-monsters-mash-up-round-2-mixes-with-the-worlds-of-my-neighbor-totoro-mario-brothers-more/

Topsy Turvy Tea Etiquette

Based on the classic, Alice in Wonderland, I made this pop up book on topsy turvy tea etiquette. All of the rules are real rules on how to be polite at a tea party just a little bit backwards!

Enjoy!

Logo Competition

I recently entered a competition to design a logo for the Federation of Children's Book Groups for their children's book festival in November. These are a couple of variations of my ideas also playing around with new characters.
Enjoy!

Social Awareness - Autism

A children's book about a little boy called Stanley who has autism and how his sister Olivia deals with it. I did this to raise awareness and to introduce children to some of the characteristics of autism so they understand when they are in that situation.
